In and around Vloethemveld, there was a significant military presence during both World War I and World War II. The area was used as a training ground, a munitions storage site, and after the Second World War, as accommodation for more than 150,000 German prisoners. Our guide will lead you through this unique, 'hidden' area.

Parking: P2 (Diksmuidse Heirweg 6, Zedelgem). Walk to Kamphuis via Bedelfdreef (cobblestone road opposite the parking lot). You can also cycle directly to Kamphuis.
