A nature reserve full of adventure and possibilities!

You can walk through the 365 hectare of Vloethemveld. There are various signposted walking routes, ranging from short loops from 1.8 km to longer trips of 13 km, which take you through forests, heathland and open plains. Along the paths you will come across resting points such as benches and vantage points, including the Heidetoren and the Waterhut with a view over the landscape. 

• Walking routes ANB : War path (red route 1.8 km), forest path (blue route 4.3km) or along forest and hei (yellow route 10.8km)
• Walking network Vloethemveld (For sale in town halls Jabbeke and Zedelgem or in the Vloethemveld reception building)
• Heirwegpad (8.5km)
• Green stop walk (12 or 19 km)
• From Maskobossen to Vloethemveld (9.5km)
• Baekelandtpad (10km - Signposted - Route to be requested in the Jabbeke town hall) 
• Muse walk (Start Center Snellegem, 6.5km)
• Accessible Hiking Network Loop Vloethemveld (8.4 km)

Vloethemveld is an excellent place for runners who like to be active in nature. The area offers a varied range of running routes, suitable for both starting and experienced runners.

The Vloethemveld nature run consists of three different loops: the green (1.8 km), blue (4.2 km) and red loop (7 km) start on the parking P2 (Diksmuidse Heirweg 6, Zedelgem). The red loop can also be started from the corner Aarttrijksesteenweg and Zandweg to Aartrijke (Jabbeke).

Vloethemveld is an excellent destination for cyclists who want to enjoy peace, nature and varied landscapes. The area offers various routes for both recreational cyclists and cyclists.

Fancy an MTB adventure? The forest route in Zedelgem and Jabbeke also crosses Vloethemveld. Through the indicated forest paths you can go to the MTB Fun Park where you can test your mountain bike skills. A ride full of action and pure cycling pleasure.

Explore Vloethemveld on horseback on the bridle paths that take you past the heathland. The Jabbeke reception parking is specially designed to give you a pleasant start. There is a drinking trough for horses and space to harness your horse.
